Upgrade or replace the sound system in your HO scale locomotive with the Athearn ATH85111 Dual Cube Speaker Assembly. Designed for compact locomotive installations, this speaker assembly uses two mini cube speakers wired together in series to provide strong, clear sound while fitting into space-conscious DCC and sound-equipped models.
Each individual speaker is rated at 8 ohms, 0.7W nominal and 1.0W peak. When wired together in the factory series configuration, the complete assembly is rated at 16 ohms, 1.4W nominal and 2.0W peak. This makes the ATH85111 a useful replacement or upgrade option for compatible HO scale locomotive sound installations.
