AK Interactive Gouache Weathering Sets for Model Trains
Shop AK Interactive Gouache Sets for coordinated model railroad weathering colors. Each set contains six 20ml water-based gouache paints selected for building realistic layers of rust, grime, dust, earth, mud, moss and environmental weathering.
AK Gouaches dry to an ultra-matte finish and can be reactivated with water after drying. That makes it easy to soften edges, blend colors, remove excess weathering or gradually build effects on locomotives, freight cars, rolling stock, railroad structures and scenery.
AKG25 Weathering Effects Set
The AKG25 set focuses on general model weathering and corrosion with Snow White, Black, Fresh Rust, Old Rust, Medium Rust and Grime. It is especially useful for weathering freight cars, locomotive underframes, machinery, steel structures and heavily used railroad equipment.
AKG26 Nature Weathering Effects Set
The AKG26 set includes Sand, Earth (Dry), Dark Earth, Dry Mud, Dust and Moss Green for natural environmental effects. These colors are well suited to railroad right-of-way, terrain, structures, vehicles, dusty rolling stock and model railroad scenery.
